If we were sitting down over coffee and chatting about why we do what we do here at Grown Well Farms, this is what I’d share with you—from the heart. These aren’t just values we put on paper; they’re the things we live by, the things we pray about, and the reasons we do what we do every single day.

1. We believe in doing things the way God intended. We believe we’ve been entrusted with this land and these animals.  Stewardship is at the core of everything we do. We see the hand of God in nature and believe our farm should reflect the beauty and balance He created. We work with creation, not against it.
2. We will never use chemicals or synthetic inputs. No herbicides. No pesticides. No synthetic fertilizers. Ever. We raise our animals and grow our pastures without shortcuts, because we care about what goes into your body—and ours. We don’t believe food should ever be questionable. You won’t find any hidden ingredients here. Just real food, raised the way nature intended.
3. We raise our animals with respect and freedom. Our animals live on pasture and move regularly. They get to root, graze, peck, and play—just like they were made to. No confinement. No stress. No crowded barns. And because they live such healthy, natural lives, we don’t have to rely on antibiotics or hormones. It’s simple, really: when animals thrive, everything else follows.
4. We value transparency. You deserve to know where your food comes from and how it’s raised. We’re always happy to answer questions, show you around the farm, or talk through how we do things. Nothing is hidden, and we’ll always be honest about what we offer and why we do things the way we do.
5. We believe in feeding people well. Our goal has never been to just sell meat. It’s to nourish families. To give people access to food they can feel good about feeding their kids. Food that supports health, not compromises it. We want to be a source of peace in your life—knowing that what’s on your plate is clean, nourishing, and raised with love.
6. We’re guided by faith. Everything we do is rooted in our faith in God. We believe He’s the one who called us to this way of life, and we do our best to honor Him in every decision we make. When things get hard (and they do), we turn to prayer and keep going—because we know we’re building something that matters.
